Koei Tecmo Shuts Down Official Websites After Being Hit By Cyber Attack

Details of around 65,000 accounts leaked.

Koei Tecmo's official websites have been temporarily closed after the European branch was hit by a cyber attack.

In a press release issued on 29th December, Koei Tecmo confirmed forum login details of about 65,000 accounts had been leaked. This includes account names, passwords (in an encrypted state) and mail addresses. Fortunately, no credit card details, customer or employee information appear to have been stolen.
