Despite this, the company's founder, Gabe Newell, is still a big fan of Mario's creator. In a recent interview with outlet 1 News, Newell was asked if he still regularly played games himself and took a brief moment in between conversation about Apex Legends and Cyberpunk 2077 to praise Shigeru Miyamoto.
