Tingle's Designer Takaya Imamura Has Retired From Nintendo

His work will live on.

Nintendo has come up with a lot of weird and wonderful characters over the years, but perhaps one of the standouts (and most loved, for that matter) would have to be Tingle.

The recurring character, who first started out in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on the Nintendo 64, and was designed by Takaya Imamura. Today, this same veteran Nintendo staffer - who also came up with the design of the Moon in the same game, announced via Facebook that it was his last day at the company.
