It's not even a cube.
2021 marks the GameCube's 20th anniversary, which means it's already been hitting pubs in the UK for two years by now, but being the old group of sods on the video team that we are, we remember it when it was merely a proverbial babe in Nintendo's proverbial (thankfully) arms.
At 20 Nintendo's cuboid console hasn't even been around for half as long as our editorial director Damien McFerran, but it's still packing a punch in people's minds for its wide array of incredible games and meme-worthy boot animation.
