Epic’s game store is live with three brand-new games, and it will bring Journey to PC

Epic’s new game store aims to be a major competitor to Steam, and today it’s launching with three surprises from big-name indie developers to get things started in style. The Unreal and Fortnite publisher also detailed some of what you can expect in the future, and those titles include - finally - a PC port for the gorgeous Journey. The three titles available now include Ashen from A44 and Annapurna Interactive and Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek from TinyBuild. Both those titles were announced some time ago, but are making surprise (accounting for some leaks) launches today. Hades is a brand-new, previously unannounced game from Supergiant, the studio that brought us Pyre, Bastion, and Transistor, and it’s also available now in early access. Thatgamecompany’s Journey, previously a PlayStation exclusive, will be published by Annapurna on Epic’s store. Those games don’t have specific dates yet, but some familiar titles will also be coming to the store very soon. Darksiders III launches on December 14. Subnautica will be available for free between December 14 and December 27. Super Meat Boy will also be free between December 28 and January 10.
