5 Games We're Looking Forward to in January - Gamers Heroes
The holiday season may have wrapped up, but the gaming world is showing no signs of slowing down. On that note, Gamers Heroes takes a look at 5 games we’re looking forward to in January. Oh, and we won’t make you click through five pages to look at the entire list.

5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in January

Travis Strikes Again - Gamers Heroes

Travis Touchdown is back with the release of Grasshopper Manufacture’s Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. Moving the action to a top-down perspective, players will be whisked away to the demonic Death Drive MK-II video game console and collect all of the Death Balls to get the wish of their choosing. To truly capture the feel he was looking for, developer Suda 51 collaborated with a number of different indie developers to feature elements from their games in this title. We’re looking forward to playing this one in co-op and seeing where the quirky adventure takes us.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will come out for the Nintendo Switch on January 18.

Ace Combat 7 - Gamers Heroes

Players will be able to take to the skies once again with the release of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Taking place once again in Strangereal, players will take control of Trigger as he fights for the Osean Air Defense Force against Erusea’s unmanned drones. Modern super weapons and realistic worlds come together to create a unique experience. We’re especially looking forward to trying this entry with the PlayStation VR.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 18.

Tales of Vesperia - Gamers Heroes

Originally coming out for the Xbox 360 in 20018, Bandai Namco’s Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition brings the iconic JRPG experience to a new generation of consoles. Players will take control of Yuri Lowell and the guild Brave Vesperia, which was formed to aid the noble woman Estelle. This particular release will include upscaled graphics, all content from the Japan-only release, and both English and Japanese voice tracks. We’re looking forward to experiencing this game once more, and also utilizing its signature Linear Motion Battle System for combat.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 11, 2019.

Resident Evil 2 - Gamers Heroes

Players will return to Raccoon City once again with the release of Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remaster. The action may have shifted to an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective (akin to that of Resident Evil 4), but the same threats (like the Tyrant) remain. Due to the new perspective, a number of things have been changed, such as the way enemies are concealed. We’re looking forward to trying out this new take on an old classic.

Resident Evil 2 will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25.

Kingdom Hearts III - Gamers Heroes

The worlds of Square-Enix and Disney collide once more with the release of the hotly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III. Sora is once again joined by Donald and Goofy, and this trio must find the seven Guardians of Light and the Key to Return Hearts. Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed have populated worlds from Tangled, Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Frozen and other Disney properties, and a number of other Disney characters make an appearance. We’re looking forward to getting absorbed in this world and seeing where this story takes us.

Kingdom Hearts III will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29.

What we at Gamers Heroes are looking forward to the most:

We at Gamers Heroes are looking forward to Kingdom Hearts III the most. Tetsuya Nomura has had a fantastic track record, and the sheer potential of a crossover of this magnitude promises a spectacle for all gamers.
