Wargroove finally hits PC next week and there’s anime to prove it

January 23, 2019 Wargroove's release date is set for February 1.

Wargroove will at last answer the world’s collective desire for more Advance Wars next week, and we don’t even have to look at an itty-bitty screen to enjoy it. Chucklefish’s turn-based strategy game makes its debut across multiple platforms - including PC - on February 1. There’s even a gorgeous new animated trailer to mark the occasion. Steam pre-orders are not yet live, but the game will be priced at £15.99 / $19.99 / €16.99. If you prefer to pick up your PC games through Humble, Wargroove will launch there as well, though there’s no word on other digital storefronts. “Wargroove is Chucklefish’s second in-house project,” the developers write in the official announcement, “and with the quality of its art, sound and technical achievements we’ve also seen our own progress as developers reflected in its outcome. We’ve come to realise that for a game to succeed it can’t be anything less than a labour of love. We hope Wargroove will challenge and delight you in equal measure.”
