Following on from Nintendo's statement yesterday, VICE Games has reportedly revealed internal documentation at Nintendo of America is now instructing support service representatives to repair drifting Joy-Con for free and to refund any customers who previously paid to have one of their faulty controllers fixed.
“Customers will no longer be requested to provide proof of purchase for Joy-Con repairs. Additionally it is not necessary to confirm warranty status. If a customer requests a refund for a previously paid Joy-Con repair confirm the prior repair and then issue a refund.”
