Capcom's blue bomber Mega Man might not be the most popular video game mascot nowadays, but he's still got a full-time gig. In more recent years we've seen the release of Mega Man 11, multiple Mega Man collections and last year he even got a new animated show called Mega Man: Fully Charged.

With a lot of the classic Mega Man games being revived at the moment, like the delayed Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, it has got fans wondering if there might ever be a new entry released in the Mega Man Battle Network series (also known in Japan as Rockman.EXE).
