Swedish EA SPORTS FIFA 20 professional Ollelito ascended from the world’s 36th ranked Xbox player to the game’s elite as he took first place at the ELEAGUE FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) Champions Cup Stage III powered by truth, 4-3 over Germany’s Umut in the cross-console Grand Final. The title is Ollelito’s first major championship and marked a historic moment as he became the first Swedish player to win a FUT Champions Cup. Ollelito collected the majority of the event’s $200,000 purse and earned 2000 EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series Rankings points.
ELEAGUE, in partnership with EA SPORTS, will produce two additional FUT Champions Cup events later this year, with the next event – the ELEAGUE FUT Champions Cup Stage IV – set to take place Friday-Sunday, Feb. 21-23, in Paris.

Throughout the weeks following this live event, fans will be able to watch ELEAGUE FIFA 20 esports coverage via several all-new TBS episodes focused on the best moments from every EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series event. The first two episodes will focus on FUT Champions Cup Stages I and II, and will debut Fridays, Jan. 24 & 31 respectively, at Midnight ET/PT (early Saturday morning). The episode showcasing the top matches from Stage III will premiere Friday, Feb. 7, at Midnight.
