These locations are listed in the order they can be discovered so if you’re working through the game, follow the guide as you progress and you shouldn’t miss any locations.
Lil Cactus Location #1 (Golden Road)
Found at this location on Golden Road. It’s part of the tutorial that introduces the Lil Cactus mini-game adventure.
Lil Cactus Location #2 (Free City Of Maia)
After the story battle against the two robots you are automatically sent back to the Free City of Maia. Li’l Cactus can be found sitting on top of one of the stalls near the ship
Lil Cactus Location #3 (Dwarf Tunnel)
Just after you cross the bridge, you’ll find the Cactus sitting near a fire.
Lil Cactus Location #4 (Molebear Moors)
Instead of going to the town in Molebear Moors, go south to find the Lil Cactus here on the map.
Lil Cactus Location #5 (Stonesplit Gap)
After Lil Cactus Location #4, head into the cave further south and you can find Lil Cactus in the second part of the map.
Lil Cactus Location #6 (Valsena)
After helping out Valsena, the Cactus will appear here on the map.
Lil Cactus Location #7 (Beiser)
The Lil Cactus is found here on the map, around the corner of the building.
Lil Cactus Location #8 (Palo Port)
Lil Cactus is found near the well in the Palo Port.
Lil Cactus Location #9 (Heavensway)
Lil Cactus is down on the beach here.
Lil Cactus Location #10 (Gusthall)
At the top of the Heavensway map is an entrance to a cave, Gusthall. When you enter Gusthall, take a left and you will find Lil Cactus in the next cavern. You can also obtain this one later when you return with the wind elemental to fully explore this area.
Lil Cactus Location #11 (Heavensway)
A second Lil Cactus is found in the first part of Heavensway. You can find it near the Amazon hideout in the area, following the story objective marker gets you to this location.
Lil Cactus Location #12 (Jadd Stronghold)
Found in the corner here on the map.
Lil Cactus Location #13 (Rabite Forest)
Found down on the beach of the Rabite Forest as soon as you leave Jadd.
Lil Cactus Location #14 (Rabite Forest)
Second one in the Rabite Forest found here on the map.
Lil Cactus Location #15 (Lakeside Town Astoria)
You have to revisit the destroyed town of Astoria to find this Lil Cactus.
Lil Cactus Location #16 (Gusthall)
For this one you will need to use the wind. Jump into the wind and you will be flung onto the left cliff with Lil Cactus.
Trials Of Mana Li’l Cactus Locations Guide – Chapter III
Much of Chapter II doesn’t feature any Cactus locations. Eventually you will be able to use a flute to summon a vehicle that lets you travel on the water. At this point you can go one of two ways first, we went to the Desert Capital of Sirhtan first.

You need to climb a broken tree to reach the platform the Cactus rests on.

Sitting behind the Mana Stone near the wall

This one may be available before reaching Chartmoon Tower but I didn’t explore this part of the map until after that section. Hiding next to the bridge.
Lil Cactus Location #30 (Lampbloom Woods)
After you reach the end of the woods by following the red flowers. The Cactuar sits on your left.
Lil Cactus Location #31 (Flowerburg Dior)
Once you arrive in the town, head to the North West corner
Lil Cactus Location #32 (Lampbloom Woods)
After you meet with the Elder he tells you Luna’s power can clear flowers that block your path. Follow the main objective to this location. You’ll find the Cactus just before the golden mana statue.
Trials Of Mana Li’l Cactus Locations Guide – Chapter IV
Lil Cactus Location #33 (Oblivisle)
When you awaken on the island, look in the trees on the left as you descend the hill.
Lil Cactus Location #34 (Laurent)
The story sends you near Laurent to get to Celestial Peak. You can’t enter Laurent but a nearby gate that was previously locked can now be opened. The Li’l Cactus is on the other side of the gate.
Trials Of Mana Li’l Cactus Locations Guide – Chapter V & VI
In Chapter V the game opens up and offers a lot of freedom on which objectives you want to tackle first. The initial objective marker takes you to Chartmoon Tower, so go there first and kill that Benevodon before using the drum to summon Flammie and going to another Benevodon location. When you are on the World Map, open your map and you can see all the locations. Either follow the order we go through or choose your own, either way the Cactus locations are on each map as follows.
Lil Cactus Location #35 (Chartmoon Tower)
When you are hunting the Benevodons, the first objective will lead you to Chartmoon Tower. Climb to the 8th floor, the Cactus can be found there.
Lil Cactus Location #36 (Molebear Moors)
As soon as you land, the Cactus is nearby.
Lil Cactus Location #37 (Daria Gem Valley)
On a small ledge just before the chest

Start at the silver mana statue and follow the ice platforms to the end. You’ll find the Cactus here
Lil Cactus Location #40 (Woods Of Wandara)
on a ledge above the chest.
Lil Cactus Location #41 (Woods Of Wandara)
At the base of the tree, near a larger mushroom.
Lil Cactus Location #42 (Fiery Gorge via Burning Sands)
Near a chest, on the lava floor via a stone path.
Lil Cactus Location #43 (Shimmering Ruins)
You can run all the way around right from the start to reach this area.
Lil Cactus Location #44 (Shimmering Ruins)
You have to run the entire edge of the ruins back to near the start to lower the water. From that point, head to this location. The Cactus can be found sitting in some rocks.
Lil Cactus Location #45 (Holy City Wendel)
Just to the right of the area where you land.
Lil Cactus Location #46 (Ancient Capital Pedda)
South West corner of the castle after you arrive in Pedda. You have to rest at the inn before the city is “rebuilt” while you sleep.
Lil Cactus Location #47 (Jungle Of Visions)
Near the first Silver Mana Statue. The Jungle of Visions is one of two different dungeons you may have toward the end of the game. If it’s not Jungle of Visions, it should be another.
Lil Cactus Location #48 (Jungle of Visions)
After the boss fight against the Dark boss, it’s not far from the next Golden Mana Statue.
Lil Cactus Location #49 (Sanctuary Of Mana)
When you return to the Sanctuary at the end of the game. The Cactus is here, hiding behind a log.
Lil Cactus Location #50 (Cascade Cavern)
I’m not sure how early this is available. I completed the game and returned to the starting areas to use the map to try and find the final location. This one may be available much earlier in the game. The entrance to Cascade Cavern can be found just outside Astoria, the ruined town near the beginning of the game.
That’s all locations for Li’l Cactus. The ring reward increases CS as you walk around and the Chain Ability starts all allies in combat with 200% CS.
