Hi All! First post here in this community (so please be easy on me).
My nephew has a birthday coming up and he will be 12. He said the only thing he wanted for his birthday is a PC with a minimum of 60 FPS but would prefer one around 120 and a 4K monitor. I’m not a pc gamer, but I do like playing games on Xbox etc. But I’m a little lost on what he is looking for, where I could get it without it being outrageous and what is more useful for a 12 year old boy. I’m not sure what FPS is but he was very specific in what he wanted. I looked at Best Buy and CostCo but I’m seeing the PC’s go for $1k. Is this the average cost? Any tips or ideas?
He has had an extremely rough childhood with two absent parents, changing multiple schools in a few years span. I would like to do something special for him without going broke. Thanks in advance!!!
