At launch, Activision released their Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) United Pack for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2. The bundle costs $4.99 and includes 7 items for the create-a-skater mode. All proceeds help place unemployed and underemployed military veterans into high-quality jobs.
Here’s everything the pack includes:
- United T-Shirt
- United Pants
- United Wheel Set
- United Hat
- United Beanie
- Two United Camo Decks (One Tie-Dye; One Traditional Camo)
The United pack is available for a limited time through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Epic Games Store. By purchasing this pack, fans will directly contribute to the Endowment’s goal of placing 100,000 veterans back to work by 2024.
Just in case you missed it earlier today, we posted our Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 review here.
Ultimately, the crux of what makes the game so incredible is also a colossal victory for sports gaming altogether. This game is a literal revival and remake of the first two games, but with a modern fresh coat of paint. How often do sports gamers clamor for these sorts of releases, and how often do publishers botch the execution? How often do we daydream about the NBA/NFL Street series or WWF No Mercy being revived in this exact same manner? THPS is a triumph for the gaming industry as a whole, proving once again that timeless gameplay is exactly that.
