Earlier this month, Sony announced that 99% of the PlayStation 4 games would be playable on PlayStation 5. Konami stated today, that eFootball PES 2021 would be backwards compatible on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and provided some additional details.
The team mentioned some features might be absent on next-gen, but didn’t reveal exactly what those features are. Option files are compatible on PlayStation 5, but you will need to import the pictures separately. Also, for those of you unaware, there is cross-play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, so those users can play against each other online.
