Pokémon GO Hosting Special Event To Celebrate Release Of New Pokémon Snap

Shiny Smeargle will make its GO debut.

To promote the upcoming Nintendo Switch release New Pokémon Snap, Niantic's augmented reality mobile game Pokémon GO will be hosting a special event inspired by the photography-focused game set in the Lental region. It'll run from 29th April until 2nd May.

As a bonus, there'll also be a new camera avatar item and camera-themed gift sticker, as well as a Shiny Smeargle up for grabs - which is making its GO debut.
