Smash Bros. Celebrates Sonic's 30th With A Special Spirit Board Event

It's a big day for the blue blur.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. Yes, three decades ago, the blue blur got his start on the Sega Genesis in North America.

To celebrate this very special occasion, Nintendo's all-star brawler Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be hosting a special Sonic-themed spirit board event where you can earn more gold. It starts this weekend and will last for three days.
