Nintendo Reportedly Expecting 10% Decrease In Switch Sales Due To Supply Issues

Although there's still a lot of demand for the Switch, Nintendo is reportedly bracing itself for a decline in hardware sales.

According to Nikkei Asia, the Japanese video game giant expects to sell "only about 20 million Switch game consoles" in the current fiscal year, which would be a 10% decrease from fiscal year 2021. Nikkei goes on to state how it has learned that "a semiconductor shortage and disruptions to logistics networks" are contributing factors.
