Red Dead Redemption 2 Gambler Challenge Guide

Gambler is another set of challenges unlocked in Red Dead 2. This Red Dead Redemption 2 Gambler Challenge Guide will walk you through the basics of the Gambler challenges including information on how to unlock the first challenge and what you must do to progress.

Before you are able to progress through the Gambler set of challenges, you must first unlock the initial challenge, Gambler 1. You do this by winning a hand of poker. You can do this in a story mission or at the table at your camp. Once you have won a single hand, you can progress through the challenges that follow.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Gambler Challenge Guide

Gambler Challenge 1

You must win 5 hands of poker in order to complete this challenge.

You get a Gambler Holster at the Trapper.

Gambler Challenge 2

You need to double down in Blackjack and win 5 times. If you struggle to find it, check out our guide on where to play Blackjack.

Gambler Challenge 3

The third gambler challenge requires you to win 3 games of Five Finger Fillet. You can play this in camp. It’s not always available at camp. If that’s the case, check the Saloon on the East side of Valentine. You can play inside at any time the Saloon is open.

Gambler Challenge 4

This challenge requires you to “bust” an opponent in Poker at each of the available locations. The locations are listed within the challenge itself. You need to bust an opponent in Flatneck Station, Saint Denis and Valentine. The quickest way to do it, is to Fast Travel to Valentine, then take a train to Saint Denis, finally head to Strawberry and then East to Flatneck Station.

• Flatneck Station – East of Strawberry
• Saint Denis – Northern Central area of Saint Denis at the Saloon.
• Valentine – Inside the Saloon on the main street in Valentine
