Rule-breaking pros are going to be added to a ‘discipline tracker’ for Overwatch League’s 2019 season. That list will run down player names, their infractions, and the punishments being meted out to them as a result. It’ll be updated throughout the season, and already includes seven fined or suspended players as of its publication earlier this today. Most of these early actions are one and two game suspensions for account boosting, though there are some harsher bits. Se-Hyun ‘Neko’ Park of Toronto Defiant is subject to a three-game suspension for “account boosting, account sharing, and obstructing league office investigation.” Riku ‘Ripa’ Toivanen of LA Gladiators has been “suspended five games for throwing matches and toxicity.” You can find the full list at the Overwatch League site, along with details on how officials “As players join the Overwatch League, the league office conducts a full review of their conduct and, where appropriate, takes disciplinary action. While the league reviews each case on its own, key factors informing the level of discipline include both the severity and recency of the actions under review. During the season, the league office will continue to evaluate infractions and take action as needed.”
