EVO 2019 Drops Super Smash Bros. Melee

In a surprising but inevitable move, Super Smash Bros. Melee has finally been dropped from the world's biggest fighting game tournament. After nearly two decades dominating global fighting game events, the 2001 GameCube release will not be featured at this year's EVO, with organisers opting to fill the 2019 line-up with much newer games and some that aren't even out yet.
