Yesterday, we lived in a world where Flower - Thatgamecompany’s beautiful, meditative title about being a petal on the wind - was not available on PC. Today, we live in a different world. A beautiful one, where we can enjoy the former PlayStation-exclusive on PC through a wide variety of distribution platforms. You can grab Flower now across Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games store for $6.99 / £5.19 / €5.69. It looks to basically be the same game that launched on PlayStation 3 a decade ago (February 12, in fact), though with optimisation for 4k visuals and presumably absent the slightly fiddly motion controls of the original. We’re still awaiting Thatgamecompany’s most popular title on PC, as Journey is still set to hit the Epic Games store. As far as we know that’s going to be an exclusive, though it’s been a while since we’ve heard any progress on the project. Flower might open the door for Journey to hit other distribution platforms, but the ultimate results remain to be seen.
