This month's free lineup of PlayStation Plus games will let you prep a marquee game hitting next week, while also letting you explore the world of one of the marquee games from earlier in the year.
Destiny 2 is the first big title on PlayStation Plus this month. If you haven't played it yet, it's worth checking out for free if you're into RPG shooters. You may also have been hearing about some of the ways Forsaken hopes to shake the game up after a post-release slump in activities, so if you were thinking of diving in, now's a good time. You can also play the game starting today, giving you a bit of time to catch up to the rest of crowd before the expansion launches next week (you probably won't make it to the power cap, though. Prove me wrong).
The other big release is God of War III's PS4 remaster. If this year's God of War sequel/reboot piqued your interest in seeing gods die and are willing to go back to the old school combat of the series, III is a decent place to learn about why Kratos had to take a time out before slaughtering Norse gods.
Meanwhile, PS3 players get the 20th anniversary edition of Another World, the director's cut of CUBE, and Sparkle 2. Vita owners Also have access to Another World, Sparkle 2, and Foul Play. PS4 owners have access to all of these titles once they become available September 4.
