How To Get A Second Pokemon To Travel With You Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee

You cannot do this until you return to Pallet Town with the parcel for Oak from Viridian City. When you do, your main Pokemon will hop on your shoulder. When your main Pokemon is on your shoulder, you can toss out a second Pokemon to join you on your travels. To do this, you need to go into the menu and into your party. Select the Pokemon you want to travel with you and press the + button to have them pop out. If you want to change your Pokemon, toss the first one back into their Pokeball and then use the + button on a second one to toss it out. These Pokemon will sometimes find berries and other items on the floor as you travel around. You can even ride certain Pokemon if they are large enough.
