What To Watch This Weekend: Blizzcon, Extra Life, And League Of Legends

Although you should be watching our Extra-Life stream today, there are a few other events going on this weekend, so I guess it can't hurt to offer a few suggestions as to what else you might want to watch. At the same time, of course.

First up, Game Informer has its annual Extra-Life marathon! We'll be streaming for 25 hours (daylight savings, y'all) with some cool games, lots of auctions (the proceeds of which go to charity, mind you), and, as always, shenanigans. (Stream and Schedule)

Fnatic and Invictus Gaming's League of Legends squads have proven themselves all throughout the playoffs, but only one can walk away with the title. The match has already wrapped up, but make sure to check out the VODs if you want to avoid spoilers. (Stream)

On the fighting game side of things, Game Tyrant is a Smash Bros.-oriented event, with singles and doubles events for every title in the series. (Streams and Schedule)

Among the many panels and ceremonies going on at Blizzcon this weekend, there'll be major tournaments at the event for OverwatchHeroes of the StormWorld of WarCraft, Hearthstone, and StarCraft. (Streams and Schedule)

Rainbow Six Siege brings its action to Canada for its (surprise!) Canadian Finals, in which Team Canada takes Grizzlys for the top prize. (Stream)

The tenth season of the Dreamleague tournament series wraps up this weekend, which should make a nice Dota 2 appetizer for the first major of the next season next week. (Stream / Schedule)

That's it for this weekend! Let us know if we missed an event, or if there's a scene you'd like us to cover, in the comments.
