The more you find, the easier it is to survive. Most of the Blue Orbs are scattered throughout different levels in Devil May Cry 5, and this guide will tell you where they are.
As well as finding the Blue Orbs hidden within each mission, you can also purchase different Orbs from the store in between missions. The supply is not unlimited but at the start of the game, you are able to purchase 6 Blue Orbs in exchange for Red ones.
Devil May Cry 5 Blue Orb Fragment Locations
Mission 1: M01 Nero Blue Orbs
Mission 2: M02 Qliphoth Blue Orbs
Blue Orb Fragment 2 – This one can’t really be missed and it is in the first Secret Mission you run into. You have to kill all the demons before the time runs out in order to get the orb.
Mission 3: M03 Flying Hunter Blue Orbs
Blue Orb Fragment 2 – The next orb in this mission can be found when you are going up the concrete steps. Before you go into the hole int he wall, take the broken stairs that lead further up and jump off the wall to a higher ledger. Use your grapple to get higher and up above you will find the next blue orb.
Mission 4: M04 V Blue Orb Fragments
Blue Orb Fragment 2 – The second blue orb in this level will require a Nidhogg key. The key can be found back where you found the first orb, in that broken building. Instead of taking the stairs up in the broken building, go through the back room and out the back to find the key. Now continue the level until you find the place to use the Nidhogg key and you will find the fragment there.
Mission 5: M05 The Devil Sword Sparda
Blue Orb Fragment 1
Proceed through the mission until you drop down into an area with a yellow digger style truck. There’s a small passageway, with a slight red lighting tint. Head into there to find the fragment.
Blue Orb Fragment 2
Complete Secret Mission 04 on this map.
Mission 8: M08 Demon King
Blue Orb Fragment 1
Impossible to miss it visually but I fell and couldn’t get it. Appears right after the first lucky shrine, floor falls apart if you step on it.
Blue Orb Fragment 2
Complete secret mission 5
Blue Orb Fragment 3
Right before the final Blood Gate that leads to the boss in this mission. Walk behind the Blood Gate, destroy the tentacle there. This will spawn a Blue Orb directly in front of the gate.
Mission 9: M09 Genesis
Blue Orb Fragment 2
After you defeat the Behemoth and destroy the wall blocking the path with Nightmare, you reach an area with stone pillars. Head past the pillars to the left. Use Nightmare to destroy the red plant on the other side to remove the roots blocking the way.
Blue Orb Fragment 2
Complete secret mission 6
Blue Orb Fragment 3
You can see this one before you can reach it. Inside the ruins with the coffins scattered around. At the end of the corridor you’ll see it glowing behind rocks. You need to drop down the hole, clear out the enemies and them climb up from the other side.
Mission 10: M10 Awaken
The first orb can be found when you find the second red door. You have to kill the enemies then get through the red door before it closes. At the top you can jump a small gap to find the first blue orb of this level.
Mission 11: M11 Reason
This one is hard to miss. Progress through the level until you enter the large clocktower style building. Inside you will reach 2 red roots you must destroy to progress. Destroy the one on the left first and it will open a path to a Blue Orb.
Mission 12: M12 Yamato
This orb will be found once you get to the room with the blood pools and the statue with the sword. Get the Nidhogg key and then climb up the broken stairs. Use the Nidhogg key and follow the path upwards until you face the Fury enemy. Kill the enemy and follow the path out until you can take a left. Take that left and defeat the next set of enemies. Break the large red orb thing to create a stream of blood and then go through that doorway. Up above that doorway you will find a path that leads to the blue orb.
Mission 14: M14 Diverging Point: V
This one can be found super early in the level, right after V passes out. When you reawaken, you will see three portals that you can go through, ignore them for now. If you look towards the top of the other rock formations you will find that one has a blue orb. Go into one of the portals and claim your bird. After you have your bird, climb up the rock formation near the Blue orb and jump the gap with the bird. It might take you a couple tries but you can float over there eventually.
Blue Orb Fragment 2
Complete Secret Mission 10 to get this orb.
Mission 15: M15 Diverging Point: Nero
Blue Orb Fragment 1
Blue Orb Fragment 1
This one is easy to miss but easy to get. Proceed through the mission until you reach the point shown above. It’s right near the end of the mission. Instead of grabbing the blood and dropping down, simply turn around. It is shortly after the Lucky Shrine where you can upgrade.
Blue Orb Fragment 2
When you reach the first Lucky Shrine Statue, take the path behind it. You will get a cut-scene showing you where to find the Blue Orb.
Mission 16: M16 Diverging Point: Dante
I found this one while I was going down the tree with Dante, it is over a large gap. It was after my third fight in the area.
This one is tricky to get, practice before jumping. I also had the double jump skill which is important. Start in trick stance and then double jump and dash towards the orb. As the dash ends, quickly switch to gun slinger mode and use your gun to jump up again and land over on the edge.
Mission 17: Boss Fight
No orbs here, just a boss fight.
Mission 18: M18 Awakening
You can get this orb after you take out the panther demon boss. Right after the panther, you will jump up a couple platforms up to a ledge and three of the Red Orb Demons will spawn. You have to kill all three of them before they disappear for the orb to appear.
Mission 19: Boss Fight
No orb here, just a boss right.
Mission 20: Boss Fight
No orb here, just a boss right.
