In the Temple on Mt Kongo in Sekiro, there is a kite that you can fly. When you first find the kite, it doesn’t seem to have any use. Check out this guide to find out what to do with the kite in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice.

What To Do With The Kite In Sekiro

In order to use the Kite properly you will need to have access to Ninjutsu moves. This means that Ashina Castle needs to be under attack by the other ninjas. You also need to have the Puppeteer Ninjutsu skill which you get from a boss, but I do not remember which one. When you have that technique, go to the Temple in Mt Kongo and drop down to the kite. Stealth attack the creature that and make it your puppet with you Ninjtsu technique. When he is your puppet, walk up to the kite machine and wait. After a few moments he will operate the kite for you and you can cross over the kite further up the mountain. You can see it up where you speak with the Rice Lady. You have to use the very large tree near the rice lady to cross over the canyon with the kite. From there you have to run and jump down the left side and take a leap of faith until the grapple point comes up. Follow the grapples to the end to find a new idol point.
