Ever since the Switch launched in 2017, I’ve been waiting on or buying indie games only on Switch as far as possible because it is a great follow up to the portable indie machine that was the PS Vita. The Gardens Between () from The Voxel Agents debuted on the Switch a little while ago and it is a fantastic puzzler with gorgeous visuals. Today, it goes up for pre-order on iOS with some nifty features. Watch the trailer for the iOS version below:
The Gardens Between is a story of Arina and Frendt who fall into a series of island gardens with various objects from their childhood scattered about. Both of them will uncover various memories from the past and more through stunning visuals and nice puzzles. The iOS version that is a premium release will be playable in landscape or portrait orientations. If you’re on an iPad Pro (3rd generation), you can play it at a framerate target of 60fps. It also fully supports the iPhone X screen.
If you’ve been waiting on the iOS version or just want to replay this gem on the go on iOS, you can pre-order it right now for $4.99 on the App Store. It releases on May 16th. As expected, this price is much lower than the asking price on Switch and other platforms which is $19.99.
