Respawn is cracking down on "Piggy-Backing" in Apex Legends and will ban players who utilize the technique that involves players not actually participating in a match but using their teammates to "carry them to a good position and level up faster."
Jayfresh, Respawn's community manager, took to Reddit to give some updates to issues the team is currently working on for Apex Legends, including the aforementioned Piggy-Backing.
According to Respawn, Piggy-Backing is "when a player drafts off other players in the squad to carry them to a good position and level up faster but doesn't actually participate in the match
