Mario's mustache is iconic as his cap and overalls, so what happens when you shave it off? Well, nothing really, it just looks incredibly odd and doesn't resemble the Italian plumber we know and love.

A mod maker by the name of SlashSMC was curious and decided to create a mod for the Nintendo Switch title Super Mario Odyssey that completely removes Mario's stache. We'll admit this is just a little terrifying if you're a fan of Mario and have been playing his games all your life.
