I’ve been taking it easy the last couple days for the holidays, but I did want to check in and post about the League Moments Super Pack that was released today to give my everlasting reminder not to buy these packs.
League Moments Super Pack
As always with these packs, you can only buy them with real money, and the issue is just the sheer amount of players you could get in them:
So, yes, pink diamond Harden, and diamond Giannis and all those other shiny diamonds look great on the available players list, but just remember there are oodles of players not in those tiers who you also could pull.
However, the appeal of these packs is you will get more chances to snag some of the cards you missed out on before in the marketplace. Prices have come down on certain hard-to-get players like amethyst Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and if you have heard hype about certain players (like diamond Jimmy Butler) then this is also a chance to get guys like that into your lineup for a more reasonable price.
The other element at play here is we all know a token marketplace update is going to happen at some point soon. When that happens, you’re going to want tokens on hand. So while I don’t ever lock-in collections, you could finish some of these Moments of the Week and do just that to rack up extra tokens before the token marketplace updates and makes prices on cards go up across the board. In other words, you can beat the rush a bit here if you start finishing collections now.
