This map is really tucked away. There’s a very small camp at the location marked above. It’s in the Ambarino region, North of Barrow Lagoon, up in the snowy area of the map. The camp belongs to Flaco Hernandez, one of the targets in the gunslinger Stranger mission. You have to access his cabin so you may require the mission to get inside. Once you break into the cabin, search the lockbox under the bed to find the map.

Red Dead Redemption 2 The Poisonous Trail Treasure Map Guide
The map shows a cliff face and a tree. You need to travel to Scarlet, which is North West of Rhodes. South East of Eris Field there is a rockface area called Face Rock. You will find it here on the map.
There is a small part of a tree that remains, a blackened trunk. At the base of the trunk is a hole, search that for the next clue.
The next clue requires you to travel East, near the Van Horn Trading Post. There’s a small set of mounds with a rock pattern in the center.
For the final clue, head to the Elysian Pool, North West of Van Horn Trading Post. There is a small cave behind the waterfall.
A short walk after you enter the cave, you need to drop down slightly to your right and crawl through the tiny space. Navigate through to the end of the cave for the treasure. Be sure to check out our video for the route as it’s quite complicated in places.
