Pathfinder: Kingmaker impressions?

So for people who have played the new Pathfinder: Kingmaker game, what are your thoughts on it? Thinking of getting it soon, as it initially caught my eye when I saw Chris Avellone was involved, but the studio hasn't made anything else.
