These GameCube-inspired Nintendo Switch controllers come out just in time for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

First off, the GameCube controller is the best controller Nintendo's ever made (sorry, N64!). Mine put up with hundreds of hours of SoulCalibur 2 button-mashing and it never broke sweat. And while I never played Smash Bros., I know one of the reasons Melee is still so popular today is because of the GameCube controller.

So, it's good to see a couple of peripheral makers reveal GameCube-inspired Nintendo Switch controllers that are due out just in time for Super Smash. Bros Ultimate in December.

First up we have Hori, which has three new wired Classic controllers due out in October. There's one with a Super Mario theme, one with a The Legend of Zelda theme and another with a Pikachu theme. Each connects to the Switch via a USB cable.
