A few years ago someone linked a website with spoilerless tips for games

The idea was that it has some general guidelines to avoid screwing up a run and some tips and tricks.

For example: this build is OP, that build is crap, don't kill this dude, don't do that. On this level X make sure to get that, etc.

Anyone know where to find it or something similar?

I don't like having to replay a game because I missed some game changing crap and I don't like walkthroughs. I just want to know if there is something important in a level/place or the points of no return to avoid missing them.
